The Frozen Lemonade Cup is Pure GOLD

The Frozen Lemonade Cup Benefiting Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation striving to cure Childhood Cancer is coming to Rockville.

Haley Skarupa, a member of the U.S Women's National team and Olympic Gold Medalist from the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games will be on hand to meet and encourage our young hockey philanthropists as they face off against childhood cancer. Do not miss your chance to hold a Gold Medal.

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) Frozen Lemonade Cup features Mites, Squirts, and PeeWees, playing in a charity ice hockey tournament to raise awareness, support families and fund impactful research for children with cancer. We work directly with the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation with a shared mission of empowering EVERYONE to help cure childhood cancer; all proceeds from the Frozen Cup events go directly to ALSF.

The event will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 4 - 8 pm.

Location:  Rockville Ice Arena
50 Southlawn Court - Rockville, MD 20850

It is an individual registration event.  One of our organizers has created a system for balancing teams based on a variety of factors including age and level of play.  We have a 15 team roster, which will include B, A, AA and AAA players (06s-‘11s). This is more about kids getting on the ice, all in good FUN while creating a community of youth hockey players helping to cure cancer.  It's a family affair with raffles, games and plenty of activity on and off the ice.

Heres' the format:

Mites are 4 on 4 - half ice.
Squirts and Pee Wees -  5 on 5- full ice.

There are 4 teams in each division.  Games are 25 minutes each- each team playing the other three teams.

There's a semi final game (4 games guaranteed for all participants) and those winners advance to the Finals.

All players get to keep their Alex's Lemonade Jersey plus some motivation to keep up the charitable work off the ice.

Coaches and volunteers are always needed as well!

Your support is most appreciated and will make a meaningful impact on the lives of all children with cancer.  If you are unable to join us on the ice, you can still support our efforts by making a donation.  Thank you for your consideration, time and support.

***Register here and now (you will need your player's 2017-2018 USA Hockey Registration number). Please list the anticipated level for next year's hockey season in the registration.

Please share with this with every past, present and future hockey player you know.  We could use your help to spread the word.  Hope to see you there.
