Summer Skills

Summer skills is an 8 week program designed to hone your most important hockey skills while also providing small games to increase your hockey IQ and situational awareness. Each week is divided into two 45 minute segments. One segment will be run by our Sabres Skills Instructor and will be heavily focused on power skating, puck handling, passing and shooting. The other 45 minutes will be spent playing 3v3 small games. The program is limited to the first 25 skaters and 4 goalies for each session for a total of 100 skaters and 16 goalies.

Do not purchase jerseys. Although please bring a dark and light color jersey with you to even up the 3v3 play.

Skaters - $150; Goalies - $0; There will be no pro-rated enrollments nor any drop-ins allowed, as this session will be full.

Sabres Summer Skills 2019

This skills session is composed of 8 Tuesday's starting June 4th.  Groups will split a 1.5 hour session into 45 minutes of skills and 45 minutes of 3v3 play.   

A USA Hockey Number is required for this session.  If you register prior to April 1st, you can use your 2018-19 USA Hockey number.  After April 1st, you will need to obtain a 2019-20 USA Hockey number. To obtain a USA Hockey  number please go to usahockey.com and register under the players tab

The sessions and times are below.  Birth Year groupings are notional and will vary based on participation numbers:  

Group 1 – Birthdays between August 1, 2011 and December 31, 2012: 6:15 - 7:00 – Skills; 7:00- 7:45 - 3v3

Group 2 – Birthdays between January 1, 2010 and July 31, 2011: 6:15- 7:00 - 3v3; 7:00- 7:45 – Skills  

Group 3 – Birthdays between January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2009: 8:00 - 8:45 – Skills; 8:45 -9:30 - 3v3  

Group 4 – Birthdays between January 1, 2001 and December 31, 2007: 8:00 - 8:45 - 3v3; 8:45 -9:30 – Skills

The fee for 8 sessions is $150 for skaters and is free for goalies.  There will be no pro-rated enrollments nor any drop-ins allowed, as this session will be full.
