2025 Spring Tournament Teams
We are excited to announce that Sabres Spring hockey is returning to the Capital Clubhouse in 2025!
Age groups for spring teams will be based on the players’ age group for the upcoming 2025/2026 season:
10U: 2015 and 2016 Birth year.
12U: 2013 and 2014 Birth year.
14U: 2011 and 2012 Birth year.
16U: 2009 and 2010 Birth year.
18U: 2007 and 2008 Birth year.
The players’ current USA Hockey number will be acceptable for the Spring Hockey Season as this number is good until August 2025.
Spring Hockey teams will be put together based upon registration numbers, and a one day tryout. We will fill as many teams as registration numbers, available coaches, and available goalies allow. Everyone who attends tryouts is NOT guaranteed to be placed on a team.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email which contains a payment link. Please complete your registration by using that link to register for tryouts.
Tryouts will be held the morning of Saturday April 5th, 2025. Tryout cost is $20 and is due upon registration. Tryout times for each age group are as follows:
7a-8a: 10U
8:10a-9:10a: 14U
9:20a-10:20a: 12U
10:30a-11:30a: 16U
11:40a-12:40p: 18U
Cost for the Spring Hockey season is $325. After tryouts, once a player accepts a roster spot on a team, the registration fee is due in full upon registering.
Registration fee includes 4 practices, and one tournament. Date and location of tournament TBD by coach of each team.
Practices will be 1 hour in length. Practice dates/times will be finalized once the number of teams is established, and coaches availability is confirmed.
More detailed information on number of teams for each age group, coaches, and tryout times will be sent out at that time as well.
